Calvert Basketball In Buckholts

The boys and girls varsity basketball teams from Calvert were in Buckholts Gymnasium last Friday evening for some exciting hoops action.

The varsity Lady Badgers match up against the the Lady Trojans was a nail biter up to the final buzzer with Calvert edging out Buckholts, 32-31 in the last 16 seconds of the girls' game.

The Badger boys varsity basketball team played hard, but didn't fare as well as the varsity girls, with lots of lost opportunities for baskets. The final score was Buckholts 43, Calvert 80.
