Coupland Cagers In Buckholts

The boys and girls Junior High basketball teams from Coupland took on their Buckholts counterparts last Thursday in Badger gymnasium. There was a lot of excitement.

"They're here, they're here! Look! Coupland and
Coach Rinderknecht are here!"

The Junior Lady Badgers were first on the court.

Calvert Basketball In Buckholts

The boys and girls varsity basketball teams from Calvert were in Buckholts Gymnasium last Friday evening for some exciting hoops action.

The varsity Lady Badgers match up against the the Lady Trojans was a nail biter up to the final buzzer with Calvert edging out Buckholts, 32-31 in the last 16 seconds of the girls' game.

The Badger boys varsity basketball team played hard, but didn't fare as well as the varsity girls, with lots of lost opportunities for baskets. The final score was Buckholts 43, Calvert 80.

Jr Hi Basketball 01-14-19

The Junior High boys and girls basketball teams rolled into Buckholts Monday evening, the ran over the Badgers.

The Junior Lady Badgers were up first and led the Lady Panthers for the first two quarters of their game, but the last two quarters the Lady Badgers came up short, losing to Richards 10-20.

The Junior Badgers also commanded the scoreboard the first half, but the Panthers took control of the second half of the game for the win. Final: Richards 26, Buckholts 17.

Buckholts Roundballers Win

McDade High School and Richards High School were in Buckholts Tuesday evening for some hoop action.

The Varsity Lady Badgers were up first against the Lady Panthers from Richards.

The Lady Badgers shut down the Lady Panthers for the win.

The Varsity boys hosted McDade's varsity team.

The Badgers also won, besting the Bulldogs 60-52.
