Leprechauns and Winning!

Well greens of clover, it's St. Patrick's Day and Buckholts has reason to celebrate.

Numero Uno: Hard work and tenacity pay off. Cooper Meinardus captured Grand Champion for pen of broilers at the Houston Livestock Show!!!!!!!!!  It's a BIG deal! Go Cooper!

Numero Dos: And, if you can imagine sharing your birthday with St. Patrick, you are in step with Superintendent Nancy Sandlin, who has to to put up with all the blarney on her birthday today. All is not lost though, in about 20 years +/- she will qualify for AARP and teacher retirement.

Thespians Title In Competition

Buckholts High School students competed in U.I.L. One-Act Play competition last Saturday.

Able Owens  garnered the Best Actor title and Megan Lopez received an Honorable Mention.
