Getting Ready For Homecoming in Buckholts

Instead of Friday night lights, it was prepping for Saturday night lights in Buckholts last Friday. In preparation for the Homecoming festivities on Saturday, Buckholts Athletics held a bash at the Community Center downtown.

Starting things off with a hamburger supper with Holy men present.

Then, the Homecoming Parade kicked off.

Following the parade Anthony Pena and Sebastion Cazares
entertained the crowd with their towel dancing skills.

The Buckholts HS cheerleaders stoked the crowd for the main
event. Then it was time to present the court vying for the crown.

And here are the queens strutting their stuff.

Crowd favorite, Luis Torres accepts his crown from varsity
cheerleader Julissa Cardona.

After the crowd recovered from the crowning of Queen Luis, three High School
received their varsity letter jackets. Juan Melendez, "Queen" Luis Torres, and
and Jacob Cazares.

The annual burning of the "B" concluded the formalities, followed
by a street dance.
